Latin Summer Camp
The Latin language and culture are traditionally surrounded by elitism. Because of this, many schools either choose not to teach Latin or do not have the resources to do so. With our yearly Latin summer camp, our goal is to broaden access to studying Latin, as we see the study of past cultures as just as important. We hope to inspire students with the fascinating aspects of Greco-Roman history!
BooksmART
Welcome to Project "BooksmART"! Our goal is to make our weekly readings more engaging for our younger audience by offering an art project that goes hand in hand with each cultural book we are reading this summer. We hope that the crafts will offer a more tangible way for younger children to connect with the material and themes each book is trying to share! Click the link below to learn more and get involved!
Meals on Wheels
During times of a global crisis, we can show our support and help who we can in our own communities. Usual service programs, such as the Summer Food Service Program, cannot conduct their projects at the moment because the children usually eat their meals in one location. Due to COVID-19, this large gathering setting cannot be carried out. With our help, we can relieve the food anxiety and insecurity where we can through this organization. Reaching out to local bakeries, cafes, and restaurants enables us to secure partnerships for food donations that we could drop off at a delivery location for families to pick up.
